Meet Marina – Our Cartagena Photographer
Marina Maldonado is our site’s partner photographer in Cartagena, and our personal Cartagena photographer too!
She is a Cartagena native and has over two decades experience as a photographer.
She’s worked as a photo journalist for the Colombian News Agency and as the official photographer of the Foreign Affairs Ministry in addition to capturing lovely memories for lots of Cartagena travelers and residents, like us!
She’s fluent in English and Spanish.
Why We Think Marina is the Best Photographer in Cartagena
We first met Marina back in 2019, when she invited us to do a session with her.
She was wonderful!
She knew all the best spots to get really special looking photos with Cartagena’s charming streets and walls as a backdrop. She was great at getting us to do nice poses like spinning and dancing, creating some really fun shots.
We’ve since done another street photo session with her and our, at the time, 9 month old daughter, and she also took photos at our daughter’s baptism.
So, I can say she’s patient and great with kids, even infants and even adults who don’t love posing for photos like me. She will guide you all the way!
