1. Casa del Arbol – Lovely Boutique Style Hotel in Villa de Leyva
La Casa del Arbol Hotel Boutique is a pretty easy choice to top this list of the best Villa de Leyva hotels. It has wonderful reviews, and is such a cute and charming propety.
The rooms have a tasteful and charming decoration that befits a boutique hotel in a historic town. Bathrooms are well equipped and modern, and there are also TVs in the rooms. Really, this Villa de Leyva, Colombia hotel manages to nail the balance between rustic charm and modern comfort pretty perfectly.
There is a restaurant, bar, and even spa on site too. The location is just two blocks from the main plaza. In conclusion, it’s hard to beat this best hotel in Villa de Leyva and was an easy choice to top this list of the best Villa de Leyva hotels.
2. Hotel Plazuela de San Agustín – Really Neat Villa de Leyva Hotel
Located right next door to the Casa del Arbol, the Hotel Plazuela de San Agustín is located in what was once a hacienda. There is a gorgeous little stone courtyard that is the perfect spot for enjoying the included breakfast and a cup of Colombia’s famous coffee.
Rooms are nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Like in many of the other nicest Villa de Leyva hotels, there are vaulted ceilings with lovely wooden beams.

While the Duruelo Hotel and Convention Center would make a truly excellent choice for an event in Villa de Leyva, rather it be a retreat or wedding or something else, it would also be a nice spot to stay on vacation as well, especially if you would prefer to be in a quieter area.
It is located relatively far (approximately a 10-15 minute walk) from the center of town, so keep that in mind. However, rooms here are lovely, and the common areas are terrific. It’s also a really big place.
So, if you are planning some kind of event, definitely do it here, but even if not, you could still consider it one of the nicest hotels in Villa de Leyva.
4. Hotel MasClara – Wonderful Little Villa de Leyva Hotel
For those looking to be in a quiet area away from the central part of town but not in a giant place, Hotel MasClara would make a fine choice for a hotel in Villa de Leyva.
This place not only has wonderful reviews, but it is a really cute hotel. While the outside looks a bit more modern, the inside still has all the charm you would expect in Villa de Leyva. Rooms are a good size and are nicely and comfortably furnished. Many have little balconies with nice views, and there is a larger terrace that is very pretty.
This Villa de Leyva hotel is outside of town itself. It’s not too far, a 7 minute ride of half hour or less walk, but it is worth keeping in mind if you do decide to stay here. Of course, the recompense is the pretty views and more secluded atmosphere.
5. Hotel La Posada de San Antonio – Historic Hotel in Heart of Town
If you prefer to be closer to restaurants and things to see in town, La Posada de San Antonio is another good choice that belongs among the best hotels in Villa de Leyva.
It’s located in a pretty historic home just a block from the main plaza on the Parque Antonio Nariño. The rooms and common areas have a very historic and rustic decor that are charming yet comfortable.
It really is a great blend of a pretty property in a great location at a good price, and so you should definitely consider it as a great option for Villa de Leyva accommodations.
6. Hotel Villa del Angel – Gorgeous Mansion Turned Hotel
Located in a gorgeous corner mansion, Hotel Villa del Angel, makes for another good choice for accommodations in Villa de Leyva.
It is towards the edge of town, so offers a happy medium between still being a less than 10 minute walk to the main plaza but also being in a quieter area.
Rooms are very pretty with the vaulted ceilings and wooden beams that many of the best places to stay in Villa de Leyva boast. They also have a touch of modern and colorful decor and would be more than cozy for a stay.
7. Hotel y Spa Getsemaní – Nice Spot for Couples

As its name implies, there is a nice spa here, and even a decent sized indoor pool and jacuzzis, rarities in Villa de Leyva hotels. The property is pretty, set in an old mansion with a lovely cobblestoned courtyard. I think it would be perfect for a couple’s getaway.
Rooms are also lovely and look plenty comfortable. It is located a bit towards the edge of town, so it’s a bit further from the central plaza than some other places on this list, but it’s still just a short walk away. If you do want a nice spa experience during your stay, this may just be the best Villa de Leyva hotel for you!
8. Hotel Antonio Nariño – Great Place in Great Location
Susana and I actually spent a couple nights at Hotel Antonio Nariño during our visit to Villa de Leyva.
We thought it was very nice. The room was lovely with a big, comfortable bed, and there was even a little sitting area with a fireplace. We didn’t end up doing a fire, but it would have been neat to do it, especially if it’s a colder night.
The hotel’s common areas are all very pretty too, and the location really can’t be beat. It’s located just a block and a half or so from the main plaza and right across the street from the Antonio Nariño museum.
In conclusion, it’s another fine choice for Villa de Leyva, Colombia accommodations.
9. Hotel Casa Terra – Perfect for a Romantic Getaway
I think Hotel Casa Terra would make an exceptionally good choice for a couple although it’d also be great for families or solo travelers.
It’s located a few blocks from the plaza but still within easy walking distance to everything in town. It has a lovely, rustic and historic decor. Rooms are charming and look very comfortable. Many are a good size and feature seating areas.

I think this would make another really good choice for couples, although it’d be fine for any kind of traveler too. It’s also a pretty decent value.
11. Hospedería Villa Palva – Best Budget Hotel in Villa de Leyva
If you’re looking for an especially good value while also still being sure you are staying in a nice place, Hospedería Villa Palva would make a good choice for your hotel in Villa de Leyva.
It’s in a good spot, towards the more residential side of town, but still just a short walk from the plaza. While a bit simpler compared to the other Villa de Leyva hotels on this list, rooms are still nice and comfortable.
